Thanks to our team for another extra-ordinary Year in 2012!!!

As tradition would have it, the Bulls Head team got Monday night off in early January to celebrate another great year in 2012. Aperitifs at the
Bully and then a bus ride to one of our local pubs the Three Greyhounds Inn for drinks and dinner. Then back to the Bully for a little movement to the
beats of DJ Tim and DJ ‘Disley Rascal’ James!!

We are proud of the years achievements, a record year, in the ‘Good Beer Guide for the second year running, In the AA Pub Guide for the first time,
in the Good Pub Guide for the first time, In to Alistair Sawdays Special Places Guide for the first time, in to Cheshire Life Magazine Awards for the
first time reaching the final of Dining Pub of the Year even though we are much more than a dining pub… and at the end of the year nominated for the
Countryside Alliance Awards North West’s Rural Oscars finalists of 2012 for supporting and using local food suppliers.

The most important thing is that a pub that was going to close was rescued, 30 jobs have been created and the Northwest has a great village pub which we hope will be around for many years to come………. often copied but never bettered!!

The team have made this happen. From the day we opened to now the team have worked very hard to deliver the food quality from the kitchen to the service from the bar and the floor. Ben our landlord who arrived in June and his Deputies James, Shane, Philippa and back at Uni’ Sophie, have been
tremendous along with our kitchen team led by Lloyd with Steve, James, Sam who have worked so hard and have made us very proud indeed.

The pictures say it all!!! Some are rather blurred because of the movement to ‘Gangnam Style’ Here’s to 2013!!! Thank you to everyone who has supported
our pub in 2012.

Thanks to our team for an extraordinary Year!!!

It was a celebration party for all the Bulls Head team on Monday night at the pub!! Thanks firstly to all our customers who put up with the fact the pub was closed for our team bash on Monday night but we needed to take time out to thank our team for all their efforts in 2011.

The Bulls Head and its team has had quite a year starting by being voted the ‘Best turnaround Pub’ in the Northwest and second in the UK in 2011, followed by our award from CAMRA for our dedication to local micro-breweries, followed by our inclusion in the ‘Good Beer Guide 2012’, followed by a Highly Commended Award as the Bulls Head finished second in
the ‘Best New Site’ in the UK Award at the MA250 Awards in London!!

The most important thing is that a pub that was about to close was rescued, 30 jobs have been created and the northwest has a great village pub which we hope will be around for many years to come.

A big thanks to the team for working so hard this Summer!!!

As a thank you to all the team for giving it their best shot this summer here at the Bulls Head we took everyone off to Wilmslow on a Monday night for a beer and a curry!!!

We toasted absent friends in the Eastern Revive Restaurant and then toasted the team who attended for all their support over what has been a busy year!!

We would also like to thank the team that stayed behind to keep the pub open especially our famous KP (Kitchen Porter) Robin. Thanks too to Myles for cooking and to Chris and Stru for making the journey from the Cholmondeley Arms to run the bar while the Bulls Head team enjoyed the party.

Revolution the vodka bar specialists played host to us both before and after our meal and on behalf of everyone we would like to thank them for coping with us and a big thank you also to the Eastern Revive team for the excellent food and hospitality.

Here’s to the Christmas Party!!! We may have recovered by then!!
