Our final whisky tasting of the season was the bat

Our final whisky tasting of the season was the battle of the clans, from the Loch to the Isle.

Thanks to everyone who joined us last night, and the whisky officinados from @arranwhisky
and @lochlomondmalts

We paired six excellent single malt whiskys with six delicious dishes from our spring menu matching flavour notes and exciting the senses!

Our next whisky tasting night will be on Thursday, September 19th. 'Around the World a Different Way'

Calling all Malbec lovers. It's #worldmalbecday

We think that this is the perfect reason to visit us today and enjoy a glass of this Argentinian classic.

Pablo Y Walter is deep red in colour and wonderfully aromatic with violet, redcurrant, and cassis notes. This wine is rich, vibrant, Latin, and velveteen.

We've food matched this to Chef Andy's pan roasted venison loin, creamy mashed potato, spring greens with a sloe gin, and blackberry sauce. This truly is a feast for the senses.

Some specifically came in for the quiz, others came in for their favourite bite to eat and ended up staying!
